The Ashdown Rootmaster EVO III series redefines bass amplification by offering power, portability and modern features. Since its inception, the Rootmaster series has been committed to delivering Ashdown's legendary sound, exceptional power and unrivalled reliability, without the sometimes heavy weight of the UK brand's iconic models. The Rootmaster EVO III heads feature a full EQ, Ashdown's proprietary sub-harmonic generator, an efficient compressor and tube drive emulation. In an era where in-ear monitors have become the norm on stage, the Ashdown teams have understood the evolution of the sector and are introducing an innovative feature to the Rootmaster series. The RM-500 and RM-800 EVO III heads now feature Analogue Cab Sim DI, giving bassists greater flexibility to sculpt their sound on stage and in front of a live audience. The DI output at the rear (XLR socket) provides a post-EQ and post-effects signal, with various filter options replicating the frequency response of Ashdown's renowned ABM series cabinets.
