The Nux Optima Air is not a traditional electro-acoustic guitar preamp. It does not have exactly the same vocation as its cousin the Stageman Floor. The Optima Air is a two-switch pedal that offers two distinct functions: an acoustic guitar simulator via a loader / IR capture (impulse responses), but also a preamp inspired by an analog studio model recognized worldwide for its character and its harmonic warmth (enhanced here with a reverb)! In addition to offering 15 simulations / IR of famous acoustic guitars from American brands, the Optima Air allows you to make your own electro-acoustic guitar profile captures (creation of IR) via a sound card and a static microphone for example. The pedal offers 9 user presets and also manages third-party IRs. The impulse responses (IR) are adapted according to whether you play with an acoustic or electric guitar, and also the type of microphone (magnetic or piezo) in order to best optimize the final sound reproduction. Finally, this nifty pedal has all the necessary connections for playing both in the studio and on stage, with an effects loop, auxiliary input, headphone output, XLR DI output, as well as a micro USB port for editing. / load the IRs via the dedicated editing software. The Optima Air is resolutely practical and complete!
