Description

A Versatile Scarlett
The Scarlett 18i20 is the ultimate studio hub for demanding project studios. Fully equipped with 18 inputs and 20 outputs, including eight of our most detailed ultra-low-noise mic preamps, line, Hi-Z, and MIDI connections for your drums, vocals, guitars, keyboards, and synths. Focusrite Control 2 offers flexible routing and mixing options, allowing you to customize the 18i20's independent outputs to meet the needs of any recording session. Expand and synchronize your setup with ADAT, S/PDIF, and Word Clock connections.

Air Mode: The Sound of Big Consoles
Air Mode, with Presence and Harmonic Drive, brings the sound of big studio consoles to your recordings, while Auto Gain and Clip Safe ensure you never have to worry about levels. Low-latency monitoring, A/B speaker switching, and a built-in monitor mic are ideal for serious project studios. The Hitmaker Expansion software pack contains all the tools you need to record, produce, and deliver your tracks. The Focusrite Control 2 desktop and mobile apps let you remotely control your Scarlett from anywhere in the studio.

Auto Gain: Work even faster
The Auto Gain feature will make life easier for all audio engineers, from beginners to seasoned professionals. In just a few seconds, it automatically sets the optimal input level, saving valuable time during recording sessions. If you're working on complex projects, the multi-channel Auto Gain feature automatically adjusts the levels of multiple microphones, either directly on the interface or through the Focusrite Control 2 software or mobile app.

Software and mobile app for easy control
Use Focusrite Control 2 software to manage routing and levels, monitor mixes, and control other Scarlett 18i16 functions. The desktop software, along with apps for iOS and Android, allows sound engineers and artists to configure monitor mixes and adjust the gain of individual mic preamps remotely, which is particularly useful in recording rooms.

16 Channels of ADAT I/O
The Scarlett 18i20 now features 16 channels of ADAT I/O, allowing your clients to expand from eight inputs and outputs to a total of 16 additional 44.1/48 kHz ADAT inputs and outputs, for a total of 24 inputs and 28 outputs - perfect for live sessions, large-scale recordings, and I/O-intensive setups.
