The US-16x08 audio interface brings 16 mic and line inputs to your computer, excellent sound quality, and advanced features to easily handle complex recordings. 8 Ultra-HDDA technology microphone preamps, transparency and low background noise, up to 56 dB of gain. 8 additional balanced line inputs, including 2 switchable instrument inputs, for direct recording of electric guitar or bass. 8 balanced line outputs, including 2 adjustable level via potentiometer on the front panel, for monitoring.
The US-16x08 incorporates a DSP mixer, providing digital audio mixing functions with low latency. Each channel has a 4-band equalizer and a compressor, for very sophisticated monitoring mixes. In addition to interface mode, the US-16x08 can serve as a standalone mic preamp. It comes with drivers for Mac OS and Windows, as well as drivers in USB Audio Compliant 2.0 format, for tablets like the Apple iPad. MIDI input/output is also available on the rear panel.
