The Beyerdynamic DT 700 PRO X ushers in a new era for the Heilbronn, Germany-based company. While the classics of the PRO X series are considered the benchmark products in professional studios around the world, the new PRO line is suitable for flexible use both in the studio and on the go. This is all made possible by the new STELLAR.45 driver which reproduces the best sound in studio quality out loud without any distortion - with all playback devices.

The STELLAR.45 sound transducer, developed and produced in Heilbronn, Germany, delivers that proven Beyerdynamic sound at studio headphone-class performance levels never before achieved. This is due to the neodymium ring magnet as well as the high tech copper coated wire. The compromise between electrical conductivity and the weight of the wire is unique. In combination with the new three-layer speaker diaphragm with an integrated damping layer, this has created a highly efficient driver system that works superbly on all playback devices.

The innovative diaphragm structure controls the axial movement of the voice coil and ensures that it remains properly positioned in the magnet air gap even during high oscillations. Another advantage is the wide and natural frequency response. The rapid transducer response and detailed transient response, produced by the low weight of the coil, create consistently reliable, distortion-free sound, even at high sound pressure levels.

The cable concept is also clearly suitable for everyday use: the detachable mini-XLR cable can be swapped out as needed to be replaced with cables of different lengths or with other connectivity options.
