After the different versions of the mythical Whammy, DigiTech adapts its pitch shifter / harmonizer in a version specially dedicated for use with a bass guitar using the most advanced polyphonic detection and tracking technology.
DigiTech presented at NAMM 2014 the new performances of this Whammy Bass. In addition to the features of the classic Whammy, the new version incorporates two different tracking modes: Classic, for notes notes and Chord, a mode using an advanced polyphonic tracking algorithm for a real fluidity in the pitch change.
Like its big sister, the Whammy Bass is true bypass, controllable via MIDI and will come with a 9V DC power supply.
