The DDJ-FLX4 is an affordable unit that inherits key features from the professional layout of the DDJ-400 - a standard for entry-level controllers - but its user-friendly design makes it easy to learn to DJ. There's a choice of DJ software for mixing music, including free use of rekordbox's Performance mode for Mac/Windows.

User-friendly portable design and professional layout
The control layout of the DDJ-FLX4 makes it easy to learn to DJ and is inherited from Pioneer's professional DJ products. Everything is simple to use and well laid out, making the controller compact enough to take with you wherever you want to practice or perform.
New intelligent mixing functions
Don't know how to mix? Don't worry, you can get started straight away with the Smart Fader function, which automatically adjusts the volume, bass volume and BPM of the music so you can move smoothly from one track to another simply by moving the channel faders or crossfader. This means you can have fun straight away and get to grips with other fundamental DJ skills, such as EQ. What's more, with Smart CFX, you can put your own stamp on each track by simply turning a knob to apply a combination of effects that will add a dramatic touch to the sound.
Seamless integration with selected streaming services
rekordbox is compatible with a choice of streaming services. So, depending on the DJ software you use, you can choose from millions of tracks available on TIDAL, Beatport Streaming, Beatsource Streaming and SoundCloud Go+ (subscriptions required) and mix them on the DDJ-FLX4. You can use all the effects and performance features to spice up your favourite tracks and create your own sound.
USB audio output for microphone sound
The DDJ-FLX4 makes it easy if you want to animate or sing along to your sets. You'd usually need a separate mixer or sound card to mix the microphone sound with the music before feeding it into your computer or device, but the DDJ-FLX4 mixes the sound for you. So you can connect the controller to a single device and hear the sound of your mix along with the sound of the microphone. This also makes the DDJ-FLX4 an ideal choice if you want to broadcast your sets live, as you can do everything from one device.
