The Elektron Model: Cycles is a compact FM based groove box. FM synthesis is a sound process, it allows for a particularly natural and varied sound. However, this technique can be too difficult for beginners. With Model: Cycles, Elektron provides an instrument that allows you to modify the sound without using complex parameters such as FM level, FM ratio and FM scale. Indeed, the groove box proposed by Elektron has a six-track FM engine, each track can be easily manipulated by a dedicated button.
As we said, this groovebox offers six different tracks (one for each FM "machine"), namely Kick, Snare, Metal, Perc, Tone and Chord. Obviously, each track has its own parameters. There are also two global effects, a delay and a reverb, send FX for each track. This instrument offers you enough memory to store sounds and patterns.
