Yamaha - Electric Violin The PRO electric violins provide a playing quality very close to that of an acoustic violin, and offer a rich sound. They are available in colour finishes that are more appropriate for the stage and have an elegant appearance. Their design enhances the expressive performance of acoustic violins, providing a fascinating and stimulating experience for musicians and audiences alike. Top-of-the-range design The innovative basic design of the YEV104 / YEV105 has been retained. Yamaha has modernised it to meet the characteristics and aesthetic demands of high-end models. The fingerboard has been specially tinted to enhance the instrument's scenic appearance. To add a touch of luxury, Yamaha has opted for an electroformed logo. This is an ideal choice for enhancing the model's visual appeal. The chinrest clamping mechanism on the YEV104 / YEV105 is silver in colour. For the YEV104PRO / YEV105PRO, Yamaha has chosen a black colour to bring visual balance to all the parts making up the chinrest. This attention to detail ensures a unique look and feel. A unique design Just like an acoustic violin, the YEV104PRO / YEV105PRO has a soundhole formed by the body, with a soundboard made from spruce, a maple back and two soundholes on the sides. This design results in a richer, more acoustic sound and a more dynamic response. The YEV104PRO / YEV105PRO are equipped with WITTNER® Finetune-Peg tuning pegs. Made from a high-quality synthetic material, combined with a light metal alloy mechanism, they are inserted into the pegbox by simply pressing, just like a conventional peg. A mechanism holds the rope in place, preventing it from unwinding. An electrical circuit has been specially designed for the YEV104PRO / YEV105PRO to ensure optimum operation in relation to the innovative characteristics of the instrument and bridge. As a result, powerful bass can be achieved regardless of the connection to an external device, such as a Relay G10, or the activation/deactivation of the volume control.
