The Radial Pro MS2 is a microphone-level balanced signal splitter, designed to simultaneously transmit a signal to multiple destinations on stage. It is equipped with a transformer isolated output, and two direct outputs. The Radial ProMS2 is a high performance passive micro splitter that accepts symmetrical microphone signals and sends them to 3 outputs simultaneously. Since it's passive, you do not need to power it - just plug it in for a clean audio output without artifacts or color.
Inside the ProMS2, an Eclipse ET-MS10 transformer divides the signals. This model has a laminated nickel core that offers a broad frequency response and exceptional signal handling, with virtually zero distortion at all frequencies.
With more than 115dB of common-mode noise rejection, you can be assured that the buzzes caused by ground loops and industry noise will be kept to a minimum. The transformer is doubly protected against parasitic magnetic fields, on the one hand by a dedicated metal shell and secondly by the robust steel outer casing. This is complemented by radio frequency filtering and 100% discrete circuits.
Like all Radial products, the robustness of the case and connectors is legion. The design of these cases offers the unique advantage of allowing up to 8 units to be rack mounted with a Radial J-Rak. In terms of applications, the ProMS2 splitter allows the division of a signal in the studio to attack several preamps, send the signal from a stage microphone to several mixing consoles, or even separate the signal from a live configuration 'to feed a stream of diffusion, without any degradation sound ...
