The newly reimagined Epiphone Prophecy collection features the iconic Inspired by Gibson? body shapes with a modern fingerboard for players looking to break tradition and set new standards for speed, tone and technique. The new Extura body style combines the Gibson Explorer? with the narrower waist and deeper cutaway of the Gibson Futura? At the centre is a pair of custom Fishman Fluence® pickups that offer three distinct tones: a warm vintage Gibson BurstBucker?/‘Patent Applied For’ humbucker, a modern burning humbucker and a shimmering, optimised single-coil sound, all accessed via push/pull Volume and Tone controls. The Prophecy Extura also features Grover® locking Rotomatic® tuners, the LockTone? bridge and tailpiece, and the Tune-O-Matic? Tune-O-Matic? bridge and tailpiece for extra sustain, Graph Tech® NuBone® saddle for increased harmonic content and tuning stability, custom bindings, ebony fingerboard, jumbo frets and asymmetrical SlimTaper? neck with contoured heel for comfort and speed. Available with AAA figured maple top in Yellow Tiger Aged Gloss or Purple Tiger Aged Gloss, and plain top in Black Aged Gloss. Case sold separately.
