The American Professional II Jazzmaster leverages over sixty years of innovation, inspiration and evolution to meet the needs of today's professional guitarists. N n nOur popular neck with a Deep "C" profile Now features very pleasant rounded fingerboard edges, a "Super-Natural" satin finish and an all-new sculpted heel that offers a particularly comfortable touch and easy access to the highs. The new V-Mod II Jazzmaster single-coil pickups deliver the bright, shimmering tone the Jazzmaster is famous for, but they're more precise than ever. The bridge pickup has a Tap function that allows you to achieve both a powerful and harsh sound as a vintage variant with a lower output level. The switch activates the Rhythm circuit, which places the two mics in series to generate a denser sound with increased output level. It is controlled by separate volume and tone potentiometers. The new Panorama vibrato system, with its pop-in arm, considerably increases the range of action.
