The Player II Stratocaster HSS radiates timeless Fender charm, but under the bonnet, it's prepared for today's players. Everything about the neck is designed for fast, fluid playability, from the modern 'C' profile with a silky satin urethane finish on the back to the comfortable 9.5" radius rosewood or maple fingerboard with smooth rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets. You can choose from alder, chambered ash or chambered mahogany bodies, available in classic Fender finishes and new colours from the archives. Single-coil Strat Player Series Alnico V and humbucking Player Series Alnico II pickups deliver crystal-clear highs, musical mids and tight lows that enhance any genre. The 5-way reed switch lets you dial in everything from the chime of the neck pickup to the roar of the bridge pickup and everything in between, while a 2-point tremolo and ClassicGear pickups provide precise tuning stability for flexibility to explore endless sonic possibilities.
