The MZR-1005 is an audio mixer/zoner designed for mixing and broadcasting sound in public spaces, such as bars and restaurants with multiple rooms and ambiances, or retail spaces. With its 5 stereo inputs and 3 zones, this versatile mixer/zoner lets you broadcast the sound you want, wherever you want it.
A versatile tool for precise sound management The MZR-1005 is an audio mixer/zoner designed to provide flexible, efficient sound management in public spaces such as bars, restaurants and shopping centers. With its 4 stereo RCA inputs and two microphone inputs with 2-band equalization and configurable talkover, you can mix a multitude of audio sources, from CD players to mixing consoles or smartphones. The MZR-1005 also features a 3.5 mm auxiliary input on the front panel, routing the signal to channel 1 by pressing the AUX>IN1 button.
Three zones for targeted diffusion The MZR-1005 offers great flexibility thanks to its three distinct zones, including 1 mono and 2 stereo. Each zone features a source selector, master and microphone level controls, a switch for excluding the microphone signal from the zone, microphone talkover attenuation and 2-band equalization. Zones A and B feature TRS stereo jack outputs, ideal for broadcasting music or audio content to amplifiers or speakers. Zone C features a mono TRS jack output, more suitable for connecting a mono amplifier or a single loudspeaker. This configuration makes it possible to customize the sound of each space to suit the desired ambience.
A mixer/zoner designed for public spaces The MZR-1005 is equipped with a dedicated emergency input which, when it receives a signal, automatically cuts the current broadcast to give priority to an alert message in the broadcast system. In addition, the Talkover function on the microphones lets you temporarily interrupt the music or announcements in progress to give priority to a microphone announcement, e.g. for an urgent communication, or for simple communication without having to change the channel level.
