Plug and play simplicity on any device
If you love the adaptability of iRig, you'll love the new iRig 2 Adaptive Gain Dial, which works with its built-in 1/8" TRRS output connector to give you a true plug-and-play experience with your iPhone, iPad , iPod touch or Mac. Volume levels vary by instrument and device. And while the original iRig gave you superior sound, it was limited because you couldn't customize the input gain level to suit your particular setup. With iRig 2, you get an input gain dial that gives you all the power to get high-quality sound in any situation. This means you'll be able to play at your best, no matter if you're connecting a guitar screaming electric 3 humbucker or a jazzy archtop to your iPhone. Likewise, its 1/4" instrument input works with your guitar, bass or any line-level instrument. You simply connect it as you would a stompbox or a amplify. It's as simple as that.
A Swiss army knife for sound
Do you want to use it on stage? The new iRig 2 1/4” output jack allows you to use iRig 2 with an amp as part of your live rig without having to use an adapter. This gives you a whole world of opportunities when paired with AmpliTube for iOS, IK's powerful guitar and bass multi-effects processor. It gives you a vast library of meticulously modeled virtual stompbox effects, amps and other paraphernalia that you can use as part of your physical rig when you're playing with your friends, during a practice session, in the studio. recording or in a live performance. Or, if you want to be discreet, connect your headphones to the built-in 1/8” headphone output. iRig 2 itself has a switch that allows you to choose between a processed signal and a very clear “thru” input signal. This means you can use your mobile device as a tuner, recorder or other tools, preserving the purity of a 100% analog signal path.
