It combines the legendary studio sound of the ATH-M50x headphones and the clarity of the iconic 20 series of microphones. Equipped with a cardioid condenser microphone and two types of earpads for you to choose according to your preference, this streaming headset gives you and your streaming audience the ultimate studio-quality sound.
Based on the acclaimed ATH-M50x, hailed by critics and audio professionals alike, the ATH-M50xSTS uses the same 45mm wide-aperture drivers and comes with two types of pads: the M50x pads that favor audio quality and sound isolation, and mesh fabric and faux leather ones that emphasize airflow and comfort. Enjoy the studio-quality intelligibility and clarity offered by the headset's built-in cardioid condenser microphone, inherited from the iconic 20-series mics. The microphone is positioned at the end of a flexible arm, allowing to keep it close to your mouth, helping to reject background noise and deliver crystal clear sound. The microphone can be quickly and conveniently muted by pointing the flexible arm upwards.
The ATH-M50xSTS is equipped with a 2m irremovable cable with a 3.5mm headphone jack and an XLR microphone output for connection to an audio interface or console. A 6.3mm snap-on adapter is also provided for the headphone connector;
