What is Arturia Pigments For?
Pigments is a virtual instrument designed for modern production: creating powerful basses, expressive leads, evolving pads, cinematic atmospheres, granular textures, and rhythmic sequences. Thanks to its multiple engines and deep modulation, it suits electro, pop, techno, trap, ambient, as well as sound design for games and audiovisual projects.

Which synthesis engines are available in Pigments 6 Education?
Two combinable sound engines provide access to virtual analog, harmonic, wavetable, sample, granular, modal, and utility synthesis. The harmonic engine can use up to 512 partials, while the wavetable section includes 164 waveforms.
Does Pigments 6 work in VST3 format and on Mac?
Standalone, AAX, AU, VST2, VST3, and NKS formats are supported. Compatibility requires macOS 10.13 64-bit or Windows 10 64-bit minimum. A Quad Core 3.4 GHz processor, 4 GB RAM, and 2 GB disk space are recommended at minimum.
How many presets and effects are included?
The library includes more than 1,600 presets, and the effects section offers 18 processors, including Shimmer Verb, Pitch Shift Delay, BL-20 Flanger, Jun-6 Chorus, and Vocoder.
Is the synthesizer compatible with MPE and microtuning?
MPE compatibility and ODDSound MTS-ESP Microtuning integration are included.
