A Modern Entry into the World of Digital Wind Instruments
The Carry-on DWI2 continues the tradition of digital wind instruments designed to recreate "woodwind-type" playing sensations while benefiting from the flexibility of digital technology. Within the Carry-on range, it positions itself as an accessible and practical solution: built-in sounds for immediate play, and MIDI connectivity to expand into sound applications and generators, both at home and on the go.
Who Is It For? Silent Practice, Initiation, and Connected Playing
The Carry-on Digital Wind Instrument 2 is perfectly suited for beginners who want to discover a wind instrument without constraints, as well as for saxophone, clarinet, or flute players seeking a discreet headphone practice tool. It fits many musical styles (pop, electro, study jazz, film music, variety) thanks to the onboard sounds and especially its use as a MIDI controller to explore timbres far beyond traditional winds.
Sound and Design
The DWI2 offers 10 ready-to-use sounds, with reverb to add depth and a sense of space. The breath sensitivity (3 levels) allows you to adjust the response according to your attack and air control, enhancing comfort and consistency. Ergonomically, the instrument remains very compact (355 mm height) and ultra-light (110 g), with a removable silicone mouthpiece designed for comfortable embouchure and extended use.
