Prelude: A Staple Study String Set from D'Addario
The Prelude series has established itself as a "school" reference thanks to a simple and effective approach: a steel core for reliability, great durability, and a quality/price ratio designed for learning. It is a highly appreciated option by teachers to equip a study instrument without compromising response. For Whom and In What Playing Contexts?
These strings are primarily aimed at beginners and intermediate players: they facilitate bowing technique and remain stable in tuning. They are well suited for classical music, orchestral playing, as well as regular practice in conservatories or music schools.Sound Quality
Thanks to their steel core, Prelude strings offer a direct and clear response under the bow, with a reassuring sense of control. Their design targets a warm tone for study strings, while maintaining good projection and stable intonation, even when the environment changes (humidity, heating, travel).Recommended Compatible Accessories
