Sound Characteristics

The solid thermally fused Sitka spruce soundboard delivers a clear attack, good definition, and a wide dynamic range, useful for both fingerpicking and pick playing. The X-bracing promotes balanced projection and even response across the entire register. The laminated rosewood back and sides, with a pressed back, contribute to a stable tonal foundation, with clean lows and clear highs, while effectively handling environmental changes. Finally, the bone nut and the rosewood/bone bridge combination enhance vibration transmission for more consistent sustain and a precise attack feel.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To maintain the original feel, you can stick with Phosphor Bronze acoustic strings in 012-053 gauge (the same as the factory setup). The guitar comes with a padded Eastman gig bag and a 4 mm truss rod wrench for adjustments.
