Designed in collaboration with Devin Townsend, this Framus Pro Series Teambuilt aims for a balance between modern precision, professional reliability, and inspiring playability. For whom and for which styles?
This signature electric guitar is primarily intended for intermediate to expert guitarists seeking a stable platform for heavy rhythms as well as nuanced textures. It excels in progressive metal, modern rock, djent, and ambient styles, but remains highly relevant whenever you need clear definition under high gain, tuning stability, and an instrument comfortable both in direct input and dense mixes.
Sound characteristics
The combination of mahogany (body) and flamed maple (top) delivers a full low-midrange with a more precise attack, helping complex chords stay clear. The tiger ebony fingerboard adds responsiveness, snap, and crisp articulation, particularly appreciated in palm-muted passages and fast riffs. The Fishman Fluence Transcendence pickups provide a modern signature: controlled output level, strong clarity, and reduced background noise, suitable for airy cleans as well as massive saturations. The toggle switch and push/pull tone control expand the tonal palette, while the 24.75" / 628 mm scale length favors bends and vibratos, and the 24 Extra Jumbo frets enhance sustain and control.
Recommended compatible accessories
To maintain the original feel and balance, stick with Cleartone .010 - .046 gauge strings (factory set). For reliable connection to an amplifier, pedalboard, or interface, a good quality 6.35 mm mono instrument jack cable is recommended. The guitar comes with a Starline RockBag RB 20506 STARLINE gig bag for transport.
