A Dinky JS designed to access Jackson's DNA without compromising on essentials
Fast, relentless, and affordable, the JS11 embodies the Jackson spirit: an electric guitar focused on performance, with Dinky ergonomics and effective technical choices. It targets the essentials for playing fast and loud: stable neck, simple HH electronics to dial in, and a 2-point vibrato to add movement to your riffs, all in a Snow White finish that highlights the brand's aggressive lines.
For whom, and for which styles?
The Jackson JS Series Dinky JS11 is particularly suited for beginners who want a true rock/metal-oriented guitar, as well as intermediate players looking for an effective second guitar for rehearsals and home studio. Its flat radius and jumbo frets favor modern playing techniques (palm-muting, alternate picking, legato), making it very comfortable in metal, hard rock, punk, and heavy rock.
The tone
The HH configuration (two Jackson High-Output humbuckers) delivers a dense, powerful, and precise sound, ideal for distortion, tight rhythms, and solos that cut through the mix. The ceramic magnets enhance attack and clarity, while the 3-position selector switch allows quick shifts from the bridge pickup's bite to a rounder neck tone, with a versatile middle position. The poplar body provides a pleasant balance, and the maple neck contributes to a crisp and responsive feel.
Recommended compatible accessories
The JS11 comes equipped with Nickel Plated Steel (.009-.042) strings: you can stick with this gauge to maintain the original feel. A gig bag is listed as optional: Optional Gig Bag (reference 299-1512-106).
