The EC-200DX follows the line of LTD guitars with a "single cut" design inspired by classic models, featuring a decidedly modern approach: fast playability, easy access to the high frets thanks to 24 frets, and a very refined aesthetic. In this configuration, it aims for efficiency and versatility, with simple but relevant equipment to cover a wide range of sounds, from tight rhythm playing to more singing leads.

This 6-string electric guitar is particularly aimed at beginner to intermediate guitarists who want a true "rock" feel under their fingers, as well as experienced musicians looking for a reliable guitar for rehearsing, recording, or performing live. Its format, humbuckers, and short scale make it very comfortable in rock, hard rock, punk, metal (both modern and classic), but also in blues-rock when playing with volume and tone controls.

Sound

The combination of a poplar body and a flamed maple top provides an interesting balance: poplar favors a rather even and direct response, while maple helps maintain definition and attack in the upper spectrum. The two LH-150 humbuckers naturally push towards a thicker output than a single coil: solid lows, present mids, and controlled highs, ideal for overdriven tones and rich sounds. The 1 volume and 1 tone control with Push/Pull function, combined with the 3-position selector switch, allows quick switching from a rounder neck pickup tone to a sharper bridge pickup, with an expanded palette via the Push/Pull according to your settings.

For daily use, you can safely pair it with a 6.35 mm jack cable (instrument) and a universal guitar stand. For maintenance, a 6-string electric guitar string set with ball-ends will be perfect, with gauge choice mainly depending on your tuning and playing style.
