PRS CE24 SE STANDARD SATIN CHARCOAL

In the Spirit of CE: The "Snap" of the Bolt-On Neck with the PRS Touch

The PRS SE CE 24 Standard Satin follows the CE lineage, appreciated for its more percussive response and "direct" feel linked to the bolt-on neck construction, while retaining the ergonomics and refined finish typical of PRS. The "Shallow Violin" carved top enhances playing comfort and highlights the sleek look of the Charcoal Satin finish, ideal for a sober and effective aesthetic both on stage and in the studio.

Who Is It For and What Styles?

This PRS electric guitar is an excellent choice for motivated students, intermediate guitarists, and seasoned musicians who want a single guitar capable of covering many styles. It suits rock and pop as well as blues, funk, or melodic metal, thanks to a natural transition between precise rhythms and singing leads, from defined cleans to denser saturations.

Sound

The PRS 85/15 "S" pickup set emphasizes clarity: crisp highs, clear mids, and well-controlled lows, helping the guitar stay articulate in standard tunings as well as saturated tones. The 3-position selector covers the essentials (bridge, neck, middle), while the push/pull tone control splits the coils for a lighter, sharper tone-useful for funk chops, arpeggios, or more "snappy" cleans. The combination of the mahogany body (warmth, sustain) and bolt-on maple neck (attack, responsiveness) delivers a dynamic response, and the molded PRS tremolo allows adding nuances without sacrificing playing comfort.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To exploit its versatility, electric guitar strings in gauges 009-042 (flexibility) or 010-046 (balance and tuning stability) are very suitable. An adjustable strap, an electric guitar capo, and picks adapted to your attack effectively complete the setup. The instrument is delivered with a gig bag, convenient for transport and storage.
