A direct evolution of the first all-mahogany PRS guitars designed by Paul Reed Smith, the Standard 24 made its mark in 1987. This S2 version captures the original spirit (simplicity, reliability, musicality) with electronics mounted on a pickguard and accessible American construction, here dressed in the "Platinum Metallic" color for 2026.

The Sound
The solid mahogany body and set neck provide warmth, focused mids, and excellent note sustain. The 58/15 LT humbuckers, with a low number of windings, deliver a vintage PAF-inspired tone: dynamic, airy, and precise, without harshness in the highs. The 5-way selector offers useful combinations for bright rhythms as well as supported solos, while the molded PRS vibrato and locking tuners ensure tuning stability and accuracy across the entire fretboard.
