TRBX300: a Yamaha bass designed for the stage and today's sounds
The TRBX series targets bassists who want a reliable, modern instrument capable of adapting to various contexts. With the TRBX304, Yamaha emphasizes efficiency: mahogany body for density and warmth, multi-ply neck for stability, and especially a preset EQ system that allows quick changes in tonal character depending on the song.
For which bassists and styles?
The TRBX304 is particularly aimed at beginner to intermediate bassists seeking an electric bass that is easy to set up but flexible enough to explore multiple genres. It is well suited for pop, rock, funk styles and contemporary sounds requiring solid low end, clear attack, and good presence in the mix, both in rehearsal and on stage.
The Sound
Its mahogany body provides a warm sonic foundation, with full low-mids and a "body" feel under the fingers, ideal for anchoring a bass line. The two Yamaha HB humbuckers deliver a comfortable output level, with good power reserve and firm lows, while minimizing unwanted noise. The highlight remains the Pre-set EQ with 5 presets: it allows quick switching from a round tone to a more punchy and incisive sound without complex adjustments. The control section (volume, balance, preset selection) enables fast and efficient operation during playing.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
To complete your setup, you can add a strap (universal compatibility), a 6.35 mm jack cable for electric bass, as well as a clip-on or pedal tuner, useful for rehearsals and concerts.

The great thing about Yamaha is that you are never disappointed. With the trbx, you plug it in and then it sounds! The range of settings is very wide, if you like the sound of modern bass, you can easily find what you are looking for. The finish is clean, this Candy Apple Red is beautiful, it changes from the traditional colors a bit sad, the handle is super flat, good grip.
The only catch is that it is only active, so no 9v battery, no rehearsal or scene, remember to plan ahead.
Unbeatable value for money, I recommend 100%.Automatically translated

Great product, pretty and light.
This is my 2nd bass. The first, Fender Squire, was heavier and more limited in sound. Yamaha strings are soft, the neck is fine and pleasant.
Small downsides: 0 accessories and impressive battery consumption...Automatically translated
